Proactive Evaluation and Treatment

An evaluation and follow-up sessions performed in preparation for medical treatments such as surgery, radiation, or chemotherapy. The purpose of the evaluation is to learn about the YOU before cancer; your normal motion, your hobbies, your level of endurance/strength, etc.

 

After the initial visit, we work together in developing a plan to maintain the strongest version of you while going through treatment for an overall better outcome. It is also a time for lots of education, so you feel prepared for what is ahead.

Lymphedema Management 

Complete Decongestive Therapy (CDT) 

​

This begins with an assessment to ensure the true cause of your swelling is related to lymphedema and not another source of edema.  If lymphedema is the cause; the treatment involves CDT which is the current gold-standard for managing lymphedema. It includes manual lymph drainage (MLD), compression bandages/garments, exercise, and skin care.  

Recovery Evaluation and Treatment

An evaluation and follow-up treatments that starts with taking a comprehensive history, measurements, discussion of your goals, and answering your questions. Based on the information gathered during the evaluation, a diagnosis of your impairments is established and a plan to address your deficits is created based on your individual needs. 

Wellness Program

​

For those who have concluded formal physical therapy but wish to continue working on specific goals. The wellness program is also for patients who want continued guidance in the form of periodic check ups.
